Kayaking
Coast silently through mangrove tunnels, around island teeming with birds, or paddle up to a sandy beach with gently breaking waves and fantastic shelling. If you're lucky, a dolphin or manatee will drift by with a silent greeting. Take a guided tour, or with one of our maps of Charlotte Harbor, create your own adventure. Fishing
We offer a variety of fishing trips all led by experienced fishing captains - Bay fishing for snook, redfish, trout. Or... try our Kid's Fishing adventure. He or she will catch a lot of fun, and even some fish!!

Don Pedro Island Shuttle
Want to walk along an almost deserted beach? Enjoy a covered picnic area with grills, showers and bathrooms. Take our narrated 30 minute narrated boat tour to Don Pedro Island State Park. We leave the Fishery Dock in Placida at 10:00 a.m. and return at approximately 3:00 p.m. The cost is $23 per person which includes parking. Phone 941 697-8825 for reservations and current schedule. Explore the grassy flats and sandbars of Charlotte Harbor Aquatic Preserve by kayaks or boats with one of our sea life education captains. If your search is successful, you may hold a sea-horse, or other fascinating sea creature in your hand. One of our experienced leaders will identify the amazing variety of sea life found on the bottom of the Harbor.
